storms of life

I remember as a child I would sit at the door or biggest window in the house we lived in at the time to watch the thunder and lightning of the storm. It was almost mesmerizing for me. Many times I preferred these shows to any that were on tv. I still enjoy Texas rain storms and all their glory but the current storm I'm watching isn't so enjoyable... the current storm I watch daily is the one raging just behind my daughter's eyes.
